Sara Schoenbeck’s self-titled album has nine different partners for nine different duets. The album was recorded and mixed between May 2019-April 2021 in seven places across North America, including but not limited to Studio G in Brooklyn, NY, Afterlife Studio in Vancouver, BC, and London Bridge Studio in Seattle, WA.

…and then there’s this is the second album by Artifacts, the trio formed by flutist Nicole Mitchell, cellist Tomeka Reid, and drummer Mike Reed, all long-time members of the cutting-edge AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Music in Chicago). The album was released on October 29, 2021, by Astral Spirits Recordings.
